Alton Real Estate, LLC, a property management company, was incorporated in February 2011 and shortly after, the company purchased this building. Located at the corner of Water St. and W. Center St. in Meadville, PA., the company office is housed in the south side of the building where the former DePascales Travel Agency was located.
Alton Real Estate, LLC manages properties owned by the partners, and those owned individually by one of the partners, Marlan Jones, III, who started 30+ years ago in the property management business with one rental. Today the company has close to 80 rentals of residences, commercial properties, and garages in Meadville, Saegertown, Conneaut Lake, and Edinboro in Pennsylvania and also in Florida.
Both the property management side of the business and the maintenance and repair side are ran out of the one office. One may enter and see door knobs on the counter, cleaning stuff on another counter, and tools lining one wall on the peg board.
The company is still actively buying properties and continuing to grow.
